What are live watercolor portraits?--

I set up a table and paint your friends and family during your event in my signature art style in 6 minutes! Once finished, I put them in a protective sleeve for guests to take home.

 

Will you travel?​ --

Yes! I am based in Portland, Oregon but can travel! I can drive 2 hours max with no extra fee. Anything further requires a travel fee covering my time and expenses (gas, hotel, flight, food etc.)

 

How many guests can you paint in an hour? --

I'm good for at least 10 per hour! I limit one portrait max per guest (unless it's really slow) Note that depending on the size of your event not all guests may get painted. However, I'm happy to take pictures to finish up and send to guests after the night ends for an additional fee.

 

How many portraits can you complete in one event? --

I can finish 10 portraits per hour. For example if your event was 5 hours long, I could complete 50 portraits!

How many can be included in a single portrait? -

Limited to 4 guests in a single portrait! This helps me move quickly!

 

Do you go up to guests or do they come up to you?--

Guests come to me! I work with the venue to set up a table and chair in an area off to the side that doesn't intervene with the other event operations but is visible enough to be seen!

Do guests need to sit still while they are being drawn? --

Nope! I take a photo and guests can walk away, enjoy the event and then pick up their portrait when it's done.

 

Can guests watch you paint?--

Of course!  

 

What art medium do you use? --

I use a fine-point ink pen and watercolors! 

 

How much does it cost? --

Rates depend on the number of guests and the number of hours. Please reach out on my contact page for a quote!​

How do I book you for a live event?--

Begin by filling out my watercolor portraits contact form! From there I will respond with a quote and any answers to your questions. If you want to move forward I will send a contract to sign and an invoice to pay. I charge a $250 holding fee immediately due after the contract is signed. The outstanding payment will be due a month prior to the event.
